Make schedule planner: cron to Make, runs and credits

Pick a Make schedule setting, or paste a cron expression, and see in plain English when your scenario runs, how many runs a month that is, roughly how many credits it uses, and whether it fits Make's Free plan. Free, no signup, runs in your browser.

Schedule options checked 16 Oct 2026 on Make's "Schedule a scenario" help page; Free plan 1,000 credits checked 16 Oct 2026 on Make pricing. Make uses a 30-day month in its own examples. Estimate for normal (non-AI) modules, not a quote.

Common cron expressions in Make

Make's Schedule settings have no cron field. These are the matching options (runs per 30-day month, weekday counts rounded):

CronMake settingRuns/month

0 * * * *At regular intervals · 60 minutes720
0 9 * * *Daily · 09:0030
0 9,17 * * *Daily · 09:00, 17:0060
0 9 * * 1-5Weekdays (Mon-Fri) · 09:00≈21
30 8 * * 1Weekly · Monday 08:30≈4
0 9 1 * *Monthly · day 1, 09:001
0 9 1 1 *Specified dates (or Start/End date)1 a year

Business hours only, like */15 9-17 * * 1-5? Make has no "between these hours" option on that help page. List the run times in a Daily schedule (it accepts as many as you need), or run at an interval and filter on the hour; the filtered runs still use the trigger credit.

A daily schedule is all an invoice workflow needs

Checking a sheet once a day costs about 30 credits a month. Two Flowpaja templates do exactly that:

FAQ

Which schedule options does Make have?

Make's Schedule settings offer: At regular intervals, Once, Daily, Weekdays (Mon-Fri), Weekly, Monthly, Specified dates and On demand. Some triggers also offer Immediately. By default a new scenario runs every 15 minutes.

Does Make support cron expressions?

Not as a text field in Schedule settings. Pick the matching option instead: */15 * * * * is At regular intervals (15 minutes), 0 9 * * 1-5 is Weekdays (Mon-Fri) at 09:00, 0 9 1 * * is Monthly on the 1st. This tool converts the common cases.

Can one Make scenario run at several times a day?

Yes. Make's help page says you can add as many run times as you need in the Daily schedule, for example 01:00, 14:40 and 22:00.

How do I stop a scenario from running after a certain date?

Tick Show advanced settings in Schedule settings and fill in the Start and End date. The scenario then only runs inside that range.

How many credits does a schedule use?

Each scheduled run uses at least 1 credit for the trigger check, even when there is nothing new, plus 1 credit per module for each item processed (normal, non-AI modules). On Make's Free plan you get 1,000 credits a month and the shortest interval is 15 minutes.
